Behind the PTA is a registered charity, run by parent volunteers. Meetings are open to everyone.

About the charity

The charity looks after the money we raise and works with the school to spend it where it does the most for our children.

It also helps parents and staff work together, so every family feels part of the school.

In 2025–26, thanks to you

  • £44,476 raised
  • Summer and winter fairs, Eid and Black culture celebrations, the Hackney Moves run and more
  • Over 350 children grew and tasted food with a gardener
  • Over 160 children had drama, speech and performance sessions
  • 36 children read one-to-one with a volunteer
  • A new chess club: 40 children in two classes. Thank you, Tazzy, for setting it up!
  • Tea towels of the children’s and teachers’ self-portraits, loved by the families who bought them. Thank you, Bekki, for organising them!
  • Every Year 6 got a leaver’s t-shirt

    I’ve been a Jubilee parent for five years and a trustee for over three. Working with the school, as a trustee and as part of the reading volunteer programme, has let me see first-hand the difference PTA-funded activities make to our children’s time at school.

    We love our school and its wonderful community, so I wish to continue to be part of the PTA team to help and support the school in continuing to provide the fun, creative and nurturing environment and experiences for our kids.     A meeting twice a term, plus whatever you take on
    What you need:
    No experience needed, just some time and an interest in the school

    2. Come to a meeting to see what it’s like
    3. Stand for election at the AGM in the autumn
